Isildur1 vs. Urnotindangr

Part two of Isildur1 vs. Urnotindangr – PokerStars SuperStar Showdown
Walking into the April 10th PokerStars SuperStar Showdown, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom had a 4 to 3 record. Like his last 2 part major event, things did not play out in the same manner as the first match up. His last loss, and barely that, was to Scott ‘urnotindangr’ Palmer in the first half of the two part competition. This week, Viktor Blom man handled him.
This event, like the last, was played across four tables of 50/100 dollars or higher no limit hold’em or pot limit Omaha. The player showing profit by the end of 2500 hands is declared the winner. Last week, Palmer and Blom seemed well paired for a tough match up. In the end, Palmer inched out in front and won the match by a mere 5,425 dollars.
This week, the two sat down with the same stakes and same bankrolls, and were prepared to fight it out. It appeared to be quite a different game this time. Quickly, Viktor moved out in front and kept a significant lead throughout. Every time it appeared as if Palmer would move into Blom’s bankroll, Viktor simply took all of it and more back to his chip stack. By the time the match up reached the magic 2500 hand mark, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom was up a solid 66,607 dollars.
This win leaves the heads up champ with a record of 5 wins and 3 losses. Who’s next?

Cadillac1944 down over $3 million

Popularity with a huge price tag
Some online poker players are very popular because they are fun to watch. Others are popular to rail, virtually or otherwise, because they can play the game better than most. A third reason some may be popular is because they are very high stakes players who don’t have the skill to play the level. One such player has been competing on Full Tilt Poker often recently.
If you’ve been railing the high stakes Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) tables, you’ve seen the wizard avatar known as Cadillac1944. Upon looking at his player account, he’s successfully lost 300 thousand dollars yesterday alone. Over the last year, his competitive nature has lost him more than 3 million dollars. He may be entertaining to watch, but not because he’s actual competition to those who are skillfully playing at those stakes. He’s regularly sought after at the poker tables because he’s got a bankroll to pass around. Interesting to note, no one knows who is behind the screen name.
